# Enabling Blind signing & Debug Contracts on Ledger

Follow these steps if you're experiencing issues submitting transactions on your Ledger device.

When using a Ledger to execute transactions on Relay, you first must enable two settings on your device:

**1) Debug contracts** and **2) Blind signing**

Follow the steps below to enable these settings:

## Enable Debug contracts

1. Connect and unlock your Ledger device.
2. Open the **Ethereum (ETH)** application.
3. Navigate to **Settings**.
4. Navigate to **Debug contracts** then enable.

## Enable Blind signing

1. Connect and unlock your Ledger device.
2. Open the **Ethereum (ETH)** application.
3. Navigate to **Settings**.
4. Navigate to **Blind signing** then enable.
